Andrew C. SoRelle, IV, received his J.D. from Saint Thomas University School of Law, Miami, in 2006, and B.A. degrees in Biology, Philosophy and Spanish, with a minor in English, from the University of Saint Thomas, Houston, in 2002. Andrew has spent nearly ten years in the Oil and Gas industry, beginning as a field landman in East Texas, followed by practicing law for two major Houston based Energy law firms. He also worked in-house for an independent oil and gas company with operations in several states and the Gulf of Mexico, where he became the youngest land manager in his tenure with the company, and for an American subsidiary of one of the largest and oldest trading houses in Japan with more than 80,000 employees, as well as assets and business units around the world. Over the span of his career, Andrew has served the needs of clients and owners, challenged competitors and partners alike, handled billions of dollars in transactions, and managed millions of acres of land and mineral assets. Andrew is licensed to practice law in the Great State of Texas where he is also a member of the Oil, Gas, and Energy Resources Law Section, and the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section, as well as the College of the State Bar of Texas.
